It is the truth, you can become the hero of your own story
Right now, today, you can turn it all around. You can decide that you really have really had it with what you have been through and make some changes. That's truly how all great journeys begin. You actually do have to reach a point where you know that enough is in fact enough and there are some significant changes to be made.
Heroes, I'm increasingly becoming convinced (at least in the physical world), are made...not born. Heroes are the women and men who have a grand vision, integrity and the desire to work to carry out jobs daily that may take them to the heights of serious greatness. The heroes are those who regularly see something that hasn't even been created yet or no other person can see. They carry out their task with vigilance, care, and are always the person they know they can be even when there isn't an audience of any sort.
You can become the protagonist, the hero, of your own story today. You can be the individual that decided that fear was no longer going to control them and that they would stop at nada to bring their gifts to the people around them. You can try that. That's really a definite possibility. There's no reason in the world why you cannot. The only thing preventing you from doing this are the excuses you create in this moment. Large impacts can be created by those that believe excusees are irrelevant.
But how?
You have to believe in the murmurs that make it obvious that things are possible. Because they are. Yes, many have to beat significant odds to be put into a position to see that day...but it's possible. Improbable to the onlooker...yes. Impossible. No.
Make the decision today to turn it all around. You can surely be your own hero. Now start acting like one.
