See what the mind is doing and try to envisage an image whilst keeping it in focus in the mind. Should this image disappear do not worry and try to imagine it once again.

Repeat this again and again for about half an hour. Whilst doing this one can then start to take cognizance of what the rest of the body is doing and in so doing concentrate on every extremity of the body. It may be advisable to lie on one's back whilst doing this and have soft tranquil music playing to enhance the treatment.

Relaxing does not mean watching television but should be taken seriously where it feels that something proactive is being done. It is not rocket science and it is something that everyone can do at some time during the day.

All is not lost, and steps can taken to gain control of life once again where one feels that they are a positive contributor. The time is now and the sooner one embarks in finding ways to relax, the better.
