These Are Some Of The Apostle Paul Teachings

By George Turner

The Apostle, was born in Tarsus and went by the name Saul. He was based in Rome and was once one of the greatest persecutors of Christianity. As he was on his way to Damascus for his usual persecution, he had an encounter with Jesus when a bright light shone down from heaven. He was temporarily blind, and by the time he regained his site, he was ready to spread the gospel. The article speaks more on The apostle Paul teachings.

The most common lesson is in the book of Romans as Paul claims that he is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. We should all to learn to be like him as most people actually pretend to have nothing to do with Christ when they are among people just to fit in. The bible quotes Jesus stating that if people deny him before each other, he will deny them before God.

We all want to go to heaven at the end of our lives. The journey is not an easy one as one will go through trials but will have to persevere. You will also have to acknowledge Christ as the son of God and the savior of mankind. Then and only then, will you be able to enter the kingdom of heaven and have an eternally peaceful life.

Another lesson, is that we are not just another one of Gods creation and we were created for a purpose. He did not just create us to worship Him but to be His children too. This is confirmed when we learn that we are heirs together with Christ. We will get to inherit the kingdom and live in it together for all eternity.

One of the most important teachings is that about the resurrection. This is by far one of the greatest miracles to have been performed on the earth. He teaches that baptism is a simple of dying with Christ on the cross and resurrecting with him. It is also a symbol of washing your sins a way and coming back up a new person.

Unity of faith is another lesson. The same way people with a common goal come together to support each other to achieve the end goal, faith in Christ should bring Christians together. They should work toward making their faith stronger. Sharing teachings with each other will build them, and they will be able to get to heaven if they work together.

Our God is peaceful and does not bring confusion. As Christians we only one belief system, this is the one that includes Christ. Paul insists that we just take heed to those people that are preaching about the gospel of Christ. Those that talk about religions that exclude Christ are meant to confuse us, and we should not concentrate on such.

There is the verse that says, I have fought the good fight, and I have kept the faith. Paul insists that we do exactly this. The fight, however, is not physical but it is spiritual. We need to learn to defend ourselves against enemies of our faith.
