In a modern day and age that is littered with unlimited choice, cherish those who go hard for you. Commitment, amongst many other things, is a very rare characteristic.
We are so afraid to commit because we don't want to put ourselves on the line and screw it up. We don't want to make ourselves look stupid and do the wrong thing.
So instead, we swim in choice. We swim in all of the choice that is our world today and unfortunately it doesn't really do us any good.
All of the choice becomes a paralysis in itself. We have so many options that we can't actually end up making a decision at all.
It's the rarest thing these days to see people go hard for their dreams or for other people.
They don't want to get hurt.
They don't want to do the wrong thing and step on anyones toes. They don't want to make waves and be impolite.
And yet, by playing it safe...
They avoid getting hurt...
But kill everything amazing they could experience or be in the process or really diving into something fully. Sure they don't have to face the cuts and scrapes of failure, but they never get to feel elated when they finally do win.
Most only realize that until it's too late. Way too late.
So go hard in life. Go after it. Go after whatever you want to do in your life because you really only have one shot at it.
Because if you don't, you will spend the rest of your life regretting the fact that you never actually took the chances you were meant to take.
And if it does finally work out for you, you get to experience what it's like to have truly believed in something and really gone for it.
And that...is priceless.
